Light seems to flow like liquid across pieces of kiln formed black glass pieces featuring quotes about the love, beauty and alienation that can be found in the shadows and in darkness. These are all taken from the poems of the late Scottish poet Edwin Morgan, who only came out publicly as a gay man on his 70th birthday. Because he felt compelled to hide his sexuality in his erotic and love poetry, he often uses language that explores the beauty that can be found in the shadows.
